Director / Nutritionist / Pilates Instructor

Director and founder of Club Rhythm, Magda strives on integrating scientific based training with nutrition coaching for supporting lifestyle transformation. Magda has sports nutrition qualifications, a degree in Computer Science and a MBA from the Australian Graduate School Of Management. Working on completing her Nutritional Medicine she is also a STOTT PILATES ® Certified Instructor. Magda offers a range of nutrition consultation and coaching services to meet the needs of busy professionals.

Chris has a background in strength and conditioning training, and dedicates most of his time expanding his skills and knowledge in this area. Chris is also a STOTT PILATES ® Certified Instructor. His role as Head Coach allows him to utilize his skills to set the direction and the rhythm of the training in the club. From private to group sessions he provides effective and enjoyable sessions for all involved. When you attend Chris's session, people will agree that you will experience his calm yet firm instructions and will enjoy his challenging yet caring nature.

Born in Singapore, lived in Netherlands, UK, US and South Africa, Marayka is calling Adelaide home since 1993. Marayka has discovered the power of Callanetics by practising original routines designed by Callan Pinckney, the creator of the original Callantetics program. Marayka is the only certified instructor in South African Callanetics in the state and also a trained STOTT Mat Pilates instructor. She has a holistic approach to managing health, being passionate about helping people to achieve a strong and healthy body.

Renee's passion for health and fitness has stemmed from her career and training in dance. Certified & trained in performing arts in Sydney, with dance contracts at the Sands Casino in Macau, China, Renee still calls beautiful Adelaide home. Seeking new challenges home, Renee has found an appreciation for teaching through dance. Over time the desire to learn more about human movement lead Renee into becoming a STOTT Mat Pilates instructor and being involved in the development process of @TheBarre sessions. She loves implementing the dance principles and techniques for a full & incredible body workout without bulk.

David Parsons

David Parsons

Cycling Coach

David is a keen cyclist and a STOTT Mat Pilates instructor. He has spent many years pursuing his passion both nationally and abroad. Back in 2010 he’s trained the Korean national Cycling Team in 'strength and endurance', subsequently winning gold, then spent 2012 in Belgium racing for the Pro Cycling Team Tomacc where he achieved notable results in racing the European circuit. Back home David’s extremely passionate teaching his skills through Personal Training and within spin classes. He has a strong focus on technique and body balance, with every exercise having a purpose within his tailored sessions maximising individual results.

Chiara's originally from southern Italy coming from a big and loving family. With a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, Italy Chiara's talents range from stage design/production to "magic green thumb" bringing life to gardens, from riding motorcycles to being "the best mum and wife in the world" as her family and friends will tell you. Chiara finds very rewarding to be part of customer's life transformation, as they are achieving their health and fitness goals. So if you need any information about the club's services, you can email Chiara at reception and she will certainly do her best to help you.

Carla has a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the SA Endeavour College of Natural Health and constantly upgrades her skills by regularly attending additional training courses and learning new healing techniques.She has been working with the corporate businesses helping their employees treating their stress and giving them more energy, with sports teams like the Thunderbirds. Carla works with the pressure level of the client and what techniques are comfortable for them. She can help free up your body for natural and efortless movement.

Jessica has been actively working in fitness industry for over 10 years, having commenced as a Personal Trainer, then progressing to an University qualified Exercise Physiologist, enabling her to work with people with chronic illnesses and injuries. Jessica has completed her Masters in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University in WA. Jessica will be finishing her studies in Physiotherapy at the end of the year.

Sue Sheppard

Sue has the distinction of being one of only two women who ran the boundary in the South Australian National Football League, a physically demanding role requiring elite levels of fitness, personal stamina and endurance. Sue is a Certificate IV certified Master Personal Trainer, Life Coach and Level II Sprints coach and a contributing author for the recently released “The Complete Health Series”, a book of leading Health and Wellness Professionals. As a C.H.E.K Exercise Coach Sue has been trained in the analysis of biomechanics and strength and conditioning from a clinical point of view.
