Magdalena Trofin (Nutrition Coach)

Director and founder of Club Rhythm, Magda strives on integrating scientific based training with nutrition coaching for supporting lifestyle transformation.

Her interest in the scientific advances of how nutrition is influencing the human DNA and passion for fitness and movement have led her to develop an integrated approach to health and wellbeing that combines the exercise, nutrition and education supporting behavioural changes.

Magda has sports nutrition qualification, a degree in Computer Science and a MBA from the Australian Graduate School Of Management. Currently completing her Nutritional Medicine she is also a STOTT PILATES ® Certified Instructor. With over 20 years experience in the corporate environment she has been involved and managed change management and corporate transformation projects.

Magda offers a range of nutrition consultation and coaching services to meet the needs of busy professionals. Magda's belief is that food is medicine for our bodies and therefore we are what we eat. Magda draws on coaching models ensuring that each individual nutrition is matching their level of activity and lifestyle thus allowing each persons's health and lifestyle goals to be met long term.

Chris Cialini (Exercise Coach)

Chris has a background in strength and conditioning training, and dedicates most of his time expanding his skills and knowledge in this area. Chris is also a STOTT PILATES ® Certified Instructor. His role as Exercise Coach at the club allows him to utilize his skills to provide effective and enjoyable Rhythm Pilates and Rhythm Revive classes for all involved.

Chris has been involved in team sports from cricket to football for as long as he can remember, and from this he brings an element of unity and togetherness into every session. He loves the group atmosphere and works hard to make every individual feel part of something unique.

Chris will find the humorous side of most topics and is more often than not a pleasure to converse with. He holds a keen interest in tracksuit pants and will not think twice about throwing them on even in the warmest conditions.

Above all else Chris strives to improve. He spends his time ensuring that he and his clients are in a constant state of progression and are always moving in the right direction.  

When you attend Chris's session, people will agree that you will experience his calm yet firm instructions and will enjoy his challenging yet carying nature.

Jamie Bahnisch (Exercise Coach / Exercise Physiologist)

Jamie has studied at the University of South Australia and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Human Movement and Health Studies with a specialisation in Exercise and Sport Science. His passion for sports and science is leading Jamie in continuously improving his skills and knowledge and is currently pursuing his postgraduate studies through an Honours degre at UniSA with a focus in exercise physiology. He is actively involved with the Port Power Football Club Sport Science Staff in monitoring player training and game loads, player performance and physiological responses to the demands at an elite level. Jamie is a trained Rhythm Pilates instructor and holds a Level 2 accreditation with ISAK as an anthropometrist.

Jamie is a current Australian Hockey League Representative. His local club in Adelaide is the Forestville Hockey Club. He is also involved in coaching school, club and state level which has further equipped him with the skills and experience in helping athletes achieve their goals and success in sport.

He is very dedicated and meticulous in designing individually specific programs for any individual and strives to do all possible to ensure clients reach their goals and enjoy their training while they’re at Club Rhythm. He is a strong believer that structured exercise can change people’s life and while keeping enjoyment levels up his training programs will ensure to keep your body guessing and on its toes at all times!

Jamie specialises in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning and sport specific training.

Whether Rhythm Pilates for kids or advanced athletes, cycling, strength and conditioning or a GENE Assessment, by attending one of Jamie’s sessions, you will reach new heights with your training and succeed in edging closer to achieving your fitness, health and well being goals.

Chiara Ocampo (Reception / Admin)

Chiara Ocampo was born in South Italy in a big and loving family.

She always felt the urge to explore the horizon behind the fence of her family farm. The need for new challenges and a deep desire for a different way of life brought her to Australia, only 2 months after marring a free spirited man with who achieved the life time dream of running an ice cream business.

The quest for a more balanced life and a love to work with people took her to Club Rhythm.

If you don't see Chiara greeting you with her warm beautiful smile in the club she is most probably in Handorf enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Adelaide hills while running Natura's Gelati, their family business.

With a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, Italy Chiara's talents range from stage design/production to "magic green thumb" bringing life to gardens, from riding motorcycles to being "the best mum and wife in the world" as her family and friends will tell you.

Chiara finds very rewarding to be part of customer's life transformation, as they are achieving their health and fitness goals. So if you need any information about the club's services, you can email Chiara at reception and she will certainly do her best to help you.

Carla Sylow (Massage Therapist)

Carla has a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the SA Endeavour College of Natural Health and constantly upgrades her skills by regularly attending additional training courses and learning new healing technicques.

Carla is a member with the AAMT (Australian Association of Massage Therapists) and is registered with many Health Insurers allowing Health Rebates for her customers.

She has been working with the corporate businesses helping their employees treating their stress and giving them more energy, with sports teams like the Thunderbirds enabling them to flush the build-up watse products from sore muscle after exercise and at Club Rhythm with our customers helping them heal aches and pains from everyday activities improving circulation to both skin and muscles.

Carla works with the pressure level of the client and what techniques are comfortable for them. She can give a general, whole body, relaxation massage or work on very specific muscles, using deep tissue or sports style techniques.  From the gentle myofacial technique of stretching the muscle tissue, to trigger point therapy, which uses sustained pressure on specific areas to unblock nervous pathways and deep muscle tension, Carla will free up your body for natural and efortless movement.

Clayton Webber (Personal Trainer)

Clayton is a fully qualified personal trainer and has been involved in and around the fitness world for close to 20 years.

He is a published and expert author on EzineArticles.com where he writes fitness and diet related articles available online. Reading and constant study in the areas of exercise, nutrition and training psychology are very important components of his personal training and something he really enjoys helping clients use in their own training in easy to understand terms.

Taking care of your health is a huge priority for Clayton as it allows him to have the energy and motivation to pursue his other interests and loves in life. When you eat and train correctly you feel more alive and naturally want to get more done simply because you can.

Clayton’s main focus is to work with individuals helping them to find out what is their prefered form of training and then design a personalised training enjoyable and integral of one’s lifestyle.

Sue Sheppard (C.H.E.K Exercise Coach)

Sue Sheppard has the distinction of being one of only two women who ran the boundary in the South Australian National Football League, a physically demanding role requiring elite levels of fitness, personal stamina and endurance. It is fair to say Sue was born to run, she grew up playing sport and being the daughter of an Aussie Rules boundary umpire who umpired 347 league games, she was destined to run at some stage, albeit not until her mid twenties.

Sue is a Certificate IV certified Master Personal Trainer, Life Coach and Level II Sprints coach and a contributing author for the recently released “The Complete Health Series”, a book of leading Health and Wellness Professionals sharing their ideas and tips on how to pursue health and wellness.

As a C.H.E.K Exercise Coach Sue has been trained in the analysis of biomechanics and strength and conditioning from a clinical point of view. This means that Sue knows the importance of Core Strength and Stability and teaching her clients correct movement patterns.

Sue’s passion to help others understand how much difference embracing health and wellness can make to every aspect of their lives has led her to become a lifestyle coach aiming to help people improve their health and performance by moving beyond what they perceive to be their current limitations.

Marayka Kruijswijk (Exercise Coach)

Born in Singapore, lived in Netherlands, UK, US and South Africa, Marayka is calling Adelaide home since 1993. Once upon a time a size 16 woman, Marayka has discovered the power of Callanetics by practising the Ten years younger in ten hours routine designed by Callan Pinckney, the creator of the original Callantetics program. After studying Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer) Marayka got her South African Callanetics qualification and currently is the only certified instructor in this method in South Austrlia.

Marayka is also trained in Club Rhythm's Pilates method and holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Nutrition and believes that body, mind and soul are all connected.  Marayka's training as a stand up comedian helps her to see humour in everyday life and makes her sessions fun and enjoyable.

Marayka's training philosophy draws from the simplicity and yet effectiveness of the natural movement of the body and exercise routines that will deliver the results you want - quickly, safely, efficiently.

Marayka has a holistic approach to managing your health, being passionate about helping women to discover what the pelvic floor actually is, how to strengthen it and stabilise it and the difference it makes to achieving a strong and healthy body.

Todd Cece (Exercise Coach / Exercise Physiologist)

Todd developed his passion for health and wellbeing whilst studying Human Movement and Health Studies at the University of South Australia. Since his completion in 2008, Todd enhanced his qualifications and went on to become an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist studying at James Cook University in Townsville during 2009. Upon his return to Adelaide in 2010 Todd began training elite level athletes at the South Australian Sports Institute in Strength and Conditioning and obtained his Level 1 qualification with ASCA. Todd is also a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor.

His knowledge draws from both his qualifications and practical experience in working with multiple clients/athletes at various rehabilitation/sporting facilities around Adelaide and Queensland. 

Todd's care and attention to detail enables him to individualise your training plan based on your specific needs and goals. With his easy going personality and glowing smile, Todd looks forward to working you hard whilst maintaining an enjoyable training environment.

Todd specialises in Strength & Conditioning for Athletes, Injury Rehabilitation and Chronic Disease Management.
